Former Zimbabwe international Edelbert Dinha was quoted by Soccer Laduma, revealing that Ndoro was discovered deceased three days after his passing. Reports indicate he had been unwell.
Dinha was one of the first to arrive at Ndoro’s apartment, joined by fellow footballer Peter Ndlovu.
“Eish, my brother, it’s very sad, and I’m not feeling well at all right now. I’m actually at the scene as we speak. We are still awaiting the full story of what happened, but I can confirm we learned of his passing this afternoon and rushed here to check. It seems he had already been gone for about three days,” Dinha shared exclusively with the Siya crew.
“Some of his uncles and aunts are also here, having hurried to the scene as soon as they received the news. Peter Ndlovu’s presence is reassuring, demonstrating our solidarity as we support one of our own during this difficult time. Sadly, Tendai was alone at the time of his passing, but we’re still waiting for complete details on the circumstances,” Dinha added.
### A Distinguished Career Across Africa and Beyond
Hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Ndoro gained fame with Chicken Inn in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, where his goal-scoring ability earned him significant recognition. His talents eventually led him to South Africa, where he joined Mpumalanga Black Aces before making a move to Orlando Pirates in 2015.
At Pirates, Ndoro quickly became a fan favorite, showcasing remarkable performances in the iconic black and white kit. During his tenure with the Buccaneers, he scored pivotal goals that solidified his status as one of the PSL’s most formidable strikers.
Following a successful stint in Soweto, Ndoro ventured abroad to play for Saudi Arabian club Al-Faisaly before returning to South Africa with Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park.
On the international front, Ndoro represented Zimbabwe’s Warriors from 2013 to 2017, including a notable appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations.
