Liam Chad Jacobs, born on March 3, 2001, is a South African politician who previously served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Democratic Alliance (DA). From October 2022 until his switch to the Patriotic Alliance (PA) in June 2025, he led the Democratic Alliance Students Organisation (DASO). Jacobs was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa representing Gauteng in the 2024 general election.

### Early Life
Jacobs was born in Kimberley, located in the Northern Cape. He holds an honors degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pretoria.

### Career
Jacobs served as the leader of the DA’s Students’ Organisation and was placed 60th on the national party list in the 2024 elections. During his time as a DA MP, he was a member of the Portfolio Committee on Sports, Arts, and Culture.

He is known for being a strong supporter of Israel and actively advocates against labeling Israel as an apartheid state. In June 2025, Jacobs announced his departure from the DA to join the Patriotic Alliance, even after having a disagreement with PA president and Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, during a committee meeting earlier that week.
