Pedestrian Decapitated in Hit-and-Run Incident on N2 Blackburn (KwaZulu-Natal Province
A pedestrian was tragically decapitated in a hit-and-run accident in the northbound lane of the N2 highway near Blackburn.
Reports indicate that a passing motorist alerted local authorities after noticing a severely mangled body on the roadway. When emergency personnel arrived, they discovered the decapitated body in the emergency lane.
Human remains were scattered across approximately 100 meters of the road, but the victim’s head was not found. It remains unclear whether the individual was struck by multiple vehicles. A pair of navy pants was discovered neatly draped over a metal barrier, showing no signs of damage from the incident.
