MKP Spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela urges Floyd Shivambu to immidiately retract and apologize to the public and on X about allegations of drug usage

Floyd Shivambu labeled Nhlamulo Ndlela as an imbecile and a foolish leader of the MK Party, claiming he is frequently under the influence of drugs and alcohol. In response, MK Party spokesperson Nhlamulo Ndlela has called for an apology and retraction from Shivambu regarding his remarks made in a recent eNCA interview.

Shivambu accused Ndlela of substance abuse and dishonesty towards party leader Jacob Zuma. He stated, “He approached me claiming I would attempt to overthrow him, but the report discussed in the officials’ meeting was presented by him and was provided to him by individuals I consider scoundrels.”

He continued, “There are certain individuals involved, including an imbecile and a fool named Nhlamulo Ndlela, one of the misguided leaders of uMkhonto we Sizwe, who unfortunately represents that group. His approach to issues is consistently influenced by drugs and alcohol. This is the reality we face daily.”

In a letter from Ndlela’s attorneys, Ndou Inc Attorneys, the allegations were characterized as false, defamatory, and malicious. The letter emphasized, “These statements were made with a reckless disregard for their truthfulness. As a public figure and a member of the MK Party, you have a responsibility to ensure your public remarks are accurate and do not unjustly harm others.”
