MK Party Ndhlela confirms drug test results

Published:

MK Party’s Ndhlela has threatened to pursue legal action against Shivambu, who accused him of drug use and dishonesty towards Zuma. Despite these allegations, Shivambu affirmed his membership in the MK Party, although he is now serving as the national convener for a team exploring the formation of a new political movement.

In response to the accusations, Ndhlela confirmed to IOL News that he plans to take legal steps against Shivambu. “My lawyers will be sending him a letter. I demand a public apology,” he stated. He emphasized, “I have never engaged in conflict with him. My intellect and approach are far superior.”

Ndhlela noted that Shivambu’s removal from leadership was met with widespread approval within the party. “People were relieved when he was ousted,” he remarked. “Arrogance leads to a mindset where it’s either their way or no way.”

Furthermore, he defended Zuma-Sambudla against Shivambu’s claims. “If we’re discussing someone who lacks direction, it’s certainly the person making those remarks,” he stated. “Directionless behavior includes unauthorized international trips, establishing structures without proper approval, and attempting to form a new party—none of which reflect the actions of our national officials.

”Meanwhile, Shivambu mentioned that he is actively engaging the public regarding the potential establishment of a new political party. “If we proceed, we need to consider what the nature and character of this party should be and how it should be funded,” he explained. “We believe that existing political parties fail to adequately represent the majority of South Africans in the pursuit of genuine emancipation and liberation.”
