Limpopo-Shebeshxt released on bail following an altercation where he stabbed 2 people with a knife

The renowned musician known as Shebeshxt, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Chauke, made an appearance at Lebowakgomo Regional Court in Limpopo province on charges of assault with intent to cause serious bodily harm and attempted murder. The trial has been rescheduled for September 30, 2025. Shebe was taken into custody in April 2023 for allegedly stabbing two men multiple times in a public altercation in Lebowakgomo. He spent four months in jail before being released on bail. Chauke mentioned that both the prosecution and the defense will present their arguments for plea and trial today.
