URGENT REPORT: Individual Detained Following Grave Desecration and Disturbing Acts
Authorities have apprehended a 29-year-old following accusations of exhuming graves and possessing human remains in S’walala, close to Hazyview in Mpumalanga.
Investigations suggest the disturbed burial sites belonged to the man’s own father and grandfather.
Law enforcement, pursuing leads to locate the suspect, discovered him resting in his bed with skeletal remains, thought to be from the unearthed graves, placed nearby.
The suspect is scheduled to appear before the Masoyi Magistrate’s Court the following day.
