R350,000 Reward for Leads in Search for Missing Officers: Masemola

Published:

National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola announced a R350,000 reward for any information that could help resolve the troubling case of three missing police constables.
The officers vanished on Wednesday during their journey to Limpopo for an assignment.
Masemola stated that authorities are refraining from guessing as to the reason behind the puzzling disappearance of the personnel.
He appealed to the public for assistance, confident that someone possesses crucial knowledge. Masemola also held discussions with the families of the three missing officers.

Family Concerns

The families of the missing constables are seeking clarification from the police commissioner. In an interview with the SABC, they voiced anxieties regarding inconsistencies in the information provided by law enforcement, making them vulnerable to potentially inaccurate details circulating elsewhere.
“It’s been four days with little progress. Why are we, the family, seemingly the least informed? We’re receiving details from external channels, particularly social media, suggesting possible scenarios. Rumors and claims are being shared online. As a family, we’re struggling to discern who to rely on, as these alternative sources present information that appears credible.”
