A pastor from a Roman Catholic Church tragically lost his life after being shot during a prayer gathering in Aqua Park, Tzaneen, Limpopo, early Wednesday morning, around 7:00 AM.
Reports indicate that the assailant entered the prayer session and quietly took a seat near the clergyman.
The pastor then went to a nearby changing area, where he was pursued by the suspect. Moments later, the suspect reportedly fired two shots at the pastor’s head before escaping in an as-yet-unidentified car. The deceased has been named as William Banda, aged 38.
Detectives from the Limpopo Murder and Robbery Unit are actively searching for the suspect, utilizing a composite sketch provided below, in connection with this homicide.
